Éliminer l’odeur d’urine de chat ou de chien sur un tapis Votre chat ou votre chien est nerveux lorsque vous recevez de la visite et celui-ci s’est échappé sur votre tapis d’entrée ou celui du salon. Neutraliser efficacement cette mauvaise odeur avec le Neutralisant d’odeurs d’urine. Ce produit est très efficace pour les odeurs d’urine et n’abîme pas les tissus. Si votre tapis est mince, il suffit de vaporiser le produit sur la zone atteinte par l’odeur d’urine (les deux côtés du tapis) et de laisser sécher. Si vous désirez nettoyer votre tapis, nous vous conseillons de diluer 4 onces de Désinfectant pour surfaces dures et non poreuses et neutralisant d'odeurs d'animaux dans 4 litres d’eau et d’insérer cette dilution dans une machine à tapis. Par la suite, nettoyer le tapis et laisser sécher à l’aide d’un ventilateur.Si votre tapis est plus épais, il vous suffit de faire, à l’aide d’une petite corde, un cercle autour de la zone de l’urine et de l’agrandir de quelques centimètres (la zone où l’urine se trouve peut s’être agrandie un peu). Par la suite, injecter à l’aide d’une seringue munie d’une aiguille le Neutralisant d’odeurs d’urine, en commençant les traitements de l’extérieur du cercle vers l’intérieur (voir dessin ci-dessous). Faites des injections de 3 à 5 ml de produit et espacez chaque injection d’environ 1 pouces. Enfin, vaporiser le Neutralisant d’odeurs d’urine sur la zone traitée et laisser sécher. Neutraliser l’odeur de chien Si votre chien se couche toujours sur votre tapis et que son pelage dégage une mauvaise odeur, il se peut que les fibres du tapis absorbent cette odeur et dégagent par la suite une odeur de chien ou de poil mouillé. Pour vous débarrasser rapidement de cette mauvaise odeur, il vous suffit de vaporiser le Neutralisant d’odeurs de literie pour animaux partout sur le tissu et de laisser agir. Ce produit est formulé précisément pour éliminer l’odeur de chien sur le tapis, même si cette odeur est présente depuis longtemps. Ce produit est sans danger pour les animaux et n’abîme pas les tissus. Il est recommandé de toujours faire un test sur une petite surface non visible, ne pas utiliser sur les tissus qui peuvent tacher en présence d’eau. Si vous voulez nettoyer votre tapis, il suffit d’utiliser la même méthode que mentionné plus haut avec le Désinfectant et neutralisant d'odeurs d'animaux et la laveuse à tapis. Enlever l’odeur de transpiration Durant l’hiver, il peut arriver que nos bottes ainsi que nos pieds dégagent une odeur de transpiration. En nous déchaussant chaque jour sur le même tapis, au bout d’un moment celui-ci peut commencer à sentir la transpiration. Pour supprimer cette mauvaise odeur, nous vous conseillons de vaporiser le Neutralisant d’odeurs de fumée pour tissus directement sur le tapis et de laisser agir le produit. Stinky sofa: the 4 most common odors and how to get rid of them
The living room is probably one of the rooms where we spend the most time in our home. It's the ideal meeting place for family and friends, and the perfect place to relax after a long day. However, it's hard to relax and have a good time in this room when the sofa is giving off unwanted odors. Here are some common couch odors and how to remove them permanently. Removing the smell of animal urine If you have a cat or dog at home, it may have escaped onto your couch once or twice. Before removing the smell of cat or dog urine, it's important to understand that the urine has seeped into the cushion. To eliminate the odour completely, you need to insert the product so that it touches the source of the smell. The product to use to remove animal urine odor is Urine Odor Neutralizer. This is an alcohol-based neutralizer specifically designed to completely eliminate the odor of urine, feces or vomit. If you apply Urine Odor Neutralizer to a colored fiber whose color is not well bonded to the fabric, it may leave a darker ring. Take a damp cloth and rub it in, and the ring will disappear! To neutralize odours on a fabric couch, start by marking out the area affected by the odour with a small string. Then insert 3 to 5 ml of Urine Odour Neutralizer (using a syringe and needle) inside this circle, starting from the outside inwards and leaving a 1” gap between each insertion (see image below). This technique applies the product to the entire surface of the source. Then spray Urine Odour Neutralizer over the surface and leave to work. As this product is alcohol-based, it won't damage your sofa by creating stains or mildew, as would a water-based product. What's more, your sofa will dry very quickly. If your sofa is made of leather, the technique is similar, but instead of injecting the Urine Odour Neutralizer directly onto the leather, we advise you to go through the seams so as not to create holes in the leather. For the last part of the treatment, instead of spraying the Urine Odour Neutralizer directly onto the surface, we recommend that you apply the product to a cloth and rub the surface with it. Then wipe off with a dry cloth. It's also important to test the product on an inconspicuous area to make sure there's no discoloration. Eliminate cigarette odor If you've bought a used sofa, it may have a cigarette smell if the previous owners smoked. To remove cigarette odor permanently, we recommend the use of our Smoke Odor Neutralizer for Fabrics and Ambient Air, which is designed to neutralize cigarette odor. For fabric sofas, simply spray Smoke Odor Neutralizer for Fabrics and Ambient Air onto the fabric and leave to work. If the tobacco smell is strong, the cushions may have absorbed the odor. As with urine odour, we suggest you insert the Smoke Odour Neutralizer for Fabrics into the cushions with a syringe and needle, and spray the product back onto the top. It's important to push into the cushions with your hands after treatment, so that the product penetrates deep into the couch. To neutralize a tobacco odor on a leather couch, you need to understand that leather is an odor-absorbing material. Spray Smoke Odor Neutralizer for Fabrics and Ambient Air on a cloth and rub the surface with it. Then wipe the top of the treated leather with a dry cloth. If the cigarette odor persists, you'll need to use a syringe and needle to inject the product deep into the seams of the sofa. Remove perspiration odor If you have teenagers at home, they may be putting their feet up on the cushion, and as they do so, the place where they put their feet gives off the smell of perspiration. To eliminate the smell of perspiration, without damaging your sofa or creating stains, we recommend you use Perspiration Odour Neutralizer.
