Changes to information on our website

Sales tax

Purodora Lab collects sales tax in Canada on products ordered through this website. The sales tax rate that will apply to an order depends on the shipping address of the order. The 5% GST (Goods and Services Tax) is added to all orders in all provinces except the following provinces where the HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) is added to all orders: Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador (15%), Ontario (13%) and Prince Edward Island (14%). In addition, provincial sales tax is added to all orders in Quebec (9.975%), British Columbia (7%), Manitoba (8%) and Saskatchewan (6%). The sale of a gift card is not taxable. When used to pay for a purchase, it is a form of payment just like cash. Taxes must be calculated on the price of each item sold, before the value of the gift card is deducted.
